I thought that these benefits only applied to raw honey - so not most of the honey you buy at the supermarket (or maybe not any). Do you know if that is right?

Any honey has these properties, but they aren't as potent if the honey is not raw. Honey is often pasteurized, which destroys a lot of nutrients.

Honey is also useful for acne treatment (especially Manuka honey) and preserving dead people :p
