Olive Oil

Olive oil is an old favorite among Psoriasis sufferers. It is known to be effective in softening the dead skin, therefore making it easier to remove. If you have Psoriasis on your scalp, get some warm olive oil and massage it on the area affected. You can use it like a shampoo as well and rinse it thoroughly afterward. You may also want to try this olive oil bath remedy. Do this by mixing 2 teaspoons of olive oil and a large glass of milk. Add this to your bath water to keep your skin soft and moist.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has long been used to ease minor burns and other skin inflammations. It is also considered to be a disinfectant. The Psoriasis Foundation has said that many sufferers are actually using it to treat their condition. Use it as a soak for your fingernails and toenails. Simply pour some apple cider vinegar in a bowl and soak the tips of your hands and feet for at few minutes. You can also try an apple cider vinegar compress. Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar to 1 gallon of water. Soak in it a clean washcloth. Apply it to the affected area.

Rehydrate

One of the best and simplest natural home remedies for Psoriasis can be done by continuously rehydrating the skin. Do this by showering, soaking in a tub, swimming and applying wet compresses all over your body. Keeping the skin hydrated is good in softening dead skin and removing it without any damage. Besides these, soaking regularly also helps relieve itching and redness of the lesions. It is advisable to keep the water lukewarm instead of hot as this may only make the skin more itchy.

These are just some of the natural home remedies for Psoriasis. It will be best to speak with your doctor as he or she will know what the best remedies are for you or if it is ideal for your condition.
