People are continuously looking for ways on how to get rid of Eczema naturally. Although there are various over the counter topical treatments available today, a lot of people still choose natural remedies for Eczema. What is Eczema? Eczema is a skin condition that affects both men and women. Its symptoms often appear while a person is still young and is usually treated before he or she reaches the age of five. It is characterized as having dry, reddish and inflamed skin. Its exact cause is not yet known although having a weak immunity as well as the body's inability to properly detoxify have been linked to it. There are various factors that are thought to trigger Eczema such as allergies, environmental factors and even stress. Here are some of the ways on how you can get rid of Eczema naturally. These natural remedies for Eczema have been tried by a lot of people who stand by it.
Hydrate
Did you know that the simplest natural remedy for Eczema is by hydrating? When the body is properly moisturized, it is less prone to experience itching and inflammation. It is advised to hydrate the skin at least twice a day to lock in the moisture. People suffering from Eczema are advised to use an emollient. An emollient is a lotion that has higher oil consistency than the one we normally use. It can also be bought in oil form and can be applied on the skin when taking a shower. When the weather is hot, you can place your emollient in the refrigerator so that it is cool when you apply it on your skin. People should also drink plenty of water every day to help keep the body hydrated.
Strawberries
Strawberries are good in treating Eczema because of its high levels of Quercetin - a substance effective in giving pain and itch relief. When using strawberries as a natural remedy for Eczema, you should crush 4 to 5 pieces of strawberries and remove its juice. Apply the paste to the affected area and put a cotton bandage on it so that it stays in place. This can be done at least 4 times a day for 2 weeks. Strawberries can give fast relief to pain and itch that is related to Eczema.
Mango
Not a lot of people suffering from the skin condition know that mango is one of the best natural remedies for Eczema. This is because mango is rich in Vitamins A and C - both of which are great in helping sooth inflamed skin. Aside from this, mango is also good in strengthening the body's immunity. This is important knowing that Eczema is linked to having a weak immune system. To use it for Eczema, you should boil its pulp in water. Allow it to cool before applying it directly on the affected area. Do this once a day for at least 10 days.
These are only some of the ways on how to get rid of Eczema naturally. It is also important to keep in mind that allergies can trigger Eczema so make sure to avoid food or conditions that will prompt you to have an allergy attack. You should also learn how to relax particularly when under stress as this can worsen Eczema related symptoms.

Great tips, thanks.
Hello Rhonda and Kaye ! I hope you find these tips helpful :-) Thanks !
Um.. eczema is not linked to a weak immune system. Eczema is caused by an overactive immune system like asthma and allergies. In fact, sometimes immune system suppressing drugs are used to treat severe eczema that has not responded well to other treatments.
another way is by taking a shower(or bath)at least twice a day and scrub that area harder than any other then soak a rag in hot water and place it on the area and leave it there until rag cools completely do this for as long as you need too then put anti itch cream on it and try your hardest not to scratch
